Six Battles. Six Triumphs. One Unbreakable Spirit.

Mary Muller has faced cancer six times, and she’s beaten it six times. Most recently, she overcame pancreatic cancer, one of the most challenging diagnoses to survive.

Through every battle, Mary has chosen not only to fight for her life but also to share her journey with others. “Sharing my story is very healing for me,” she says. “If I can help just one person, I have accomplished a lot.”

Her strength shines brightest in how she cares for others. Even during her own treatments, Mary made time to sit with women newly diagnosed with breast cancer offering comfort, encouragement, and the simple reminder: “You can live.”

Mary also finds positivity in the smallest moments. When she lost her hair, she smiled, seeing it as a gift, a chance to embrace her God-given, untreated hair. No perms, no coloring, just a fresh start.

Faith is at the center of her resilience. “I have my faith. I pray for our doctors— their hands are coming through God’s strength. I am  thankful I have someone with the knowledge to care for me and others,” she says.

Mary approaches every season of life with strength, hope, and purpose. “Hell doesn’t want me and God is not ready for me. There is a reason why I am here. It may be to help one person get through their cancer journey.”

Looking to the future, Mary dreams of seeing one granddaughter graduate from PA school and another from dental school. “I’m not afraid to die, but I’m not ready. I look forward to the future.”

Mary’s story is one of courage, community, and compassion. It reminds us of the incredible impact we can make when we show up for one another—even in the smallest ways.
