Small Snacks, Big Impact: How PenAir is Helping Cancer Patients

We’re deeply grateful to PenAir Credit Union and the Pensacola Blue Wahoos for their continued partnership with Snack Stock—a heartwarming initiative dedicated to spreading hope and lifting spirits, one snack at a time, for patients at Ascension Sacred Heart Cancer Center.

Snack Stock is more than just a snack collection drive—it’s a gesture of kindness that brings comfort to those facing the challenges of breast cancer and other serious illnesses. Patients often spend long hours in treatment areas, waiting rooms, or attending routine appointments. Thanks to Snack Stock, they can enjoy a small treat that offers not only nourishment, but also a sense of care and normalcy during a difficult time.

Throughout the month of May, all PenAir branch locations and the Blue Wahoos Stadium are collecting individually wrapped snacks such as granola bars, crackers, cookies, and more. These simple snacks help remind patients that they’re not alone—that their community is with them every step of the way.

This year, PenAir is inviting the entire community to get involved! Join us by bringing snack donations to any PenAir branch or to the special collection event at the Blue Wahoos game on May 23. A QR code will also be available at the event for those who prefer to donate online. Every person who donates—either in person or online—will have a chance to win a special prize as a token of our appreciation.
