During the 2024-2025 year, our dedicated Change Makers Junior Board set out to raise funds to bring comfort and healing to young patients by providing a specially trained facility dog for the Pediatric Operating Room at Sacred Heart. Thanks to their hard work, passion, and community support, this goal was successfully met. The new facility dog is scheduled to arrive in June 2025, ready to provide companionship, reduce anxiety, and improve the overall patient experience for children undergoing surgery.
